Gynecological Cancer Treatment
— Radical Surgery (cancer surgery) & Simple Surgery for cancers of:

• Cervix (mouth/neck of womb)
• Uterus (womb)
• Ovary
• Vulva
• Vagina
• Fallopian Tube

— Chemotherapy (as outpatient) for the follwing cancers:

• Ovarian
• Uterine
• Trophoblastic diseases (molar pregnancy and choriocarcinoma)
• Vulva
• Vagina
• Fallopian Tube
  
  Chemotherapy may be given in conjunction with radiotherapy in certain circumstances

— Abnormal Pap Smear Management (in clinic as outpatient):

• Colposcopy with Live Video and photography
• Biopsy of cervix
• Cone biopsy of cervix with radio-frequency or CO2 Laser
• Laser treatment of cervix, vulva and vagina
• Radio-frequency surgery of cervix for excision/cautery

General Gynecology
— Gynaecology (outpatient/clinic) procedures

• Ultrasound scan of the pelvis of the uterus, ovaries and cysts
• Hysterocontrastsonography (HyCoSy) to evaluate uterus for bleeding, polyps, fibroids, etc.
• D & C (Dilation & Curettage) of uterus
• Removal of polyps & cysts
• Family planning devices - insertion & removal of following:
  • Copper IUCD (one insertion lasts for 3 or 5 years)
  • Mirena(lasts 5 years)
  • Implanon (lasts 3 years)
  • Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Implants

— Major surgery for removal of uterus, tubes & ovaries for benign conditions of uterus, tubes & ovaries

— Vaginal Hysterectomy
(removal of uterus without cut in abdomen)

— Pelvic Floor Repair:
to correct prolapse of vagina, bladder, rectum or uterus

— Repair (or plastic surgery) of vulva & vagina:
to correct scars, old tears or relaxed/stretched vagina

— Minimal access surgery

• Video Laparoscopy for:
  – Diagnosis of infertility, pelvic pain, endometriosis, cysts or to assess lumps/masses/tumors
  – Treatment of ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, pelvic adhesions & ectopic pregnancy
  
• Video Hysteroscopy for:
  – Diagnosis of abnormal uterine bleeding
  – Treatment of uterine polyps and fibroids
  

— Pelvic floor reconstruction & vaginal repair

• Urinary stress incontinence surgery including use of (Tension-free Vaginal Tape (TVT) & IntraVaginal Slings (IVS)
• Repair of Prolapse of uterus & vagina
• Repair of strtched or relaxed vaginal passages
